I would contemplate that Hilton has already asked them to do this in order to stay in the Brand family. Room - these rooms are very dated in decor. When I asked about the shuttle times the agent noted that i could use my breakfast credit at the bar or for dinner. At check in, I was offered water and my status with Hilton was mentioned. The elevator interiors have been updated to match the lobby decor. I noticed a business center on the way to the elevators. There is a small bar and a dining area for breakfast. Its cute and fun looking, but not comfortable to sit on. Lobby - clean and updated but showing wear. Based on my experience I would make sure of you are arriving early and want to get into a room to let them know and if you are arriving very early reserve the night before for a red eye arrival. Check in - arrived about an hour before published check in time. I wanted to avoid the expense of an Uber. The web site and the Hilton app say the shuttle runs from 4 am. Don't count on it if you have to be over earlier. The hotel shuttle, as of this writing, does not start until 6 am. I am unsure what the time would be during rush hour. If you have an early flight you are a less than 10 minute Uber ride from the terminals. I stayed here a year ago with problems and thought I would give it a second chance, that was a mistake! Management does not appear to care about complaints enough to fix them, they try to satisfy you with points!īooked hotel due to proximity to LAX. If in the area I would suggest going to another property or brand as the staff at this Hilton do not seem to care with the exception of the lady that checked me in she seemed to be engaged with customers. Went to complain at checkout but the line was long and the solo make staff member was to involved with a phone call with someone that sounded like they were at the airport. Young men in the back of the property smoking marijuana. Would have went down but there was a man and woman arguing in the hall so I was stuck in my room ready to dial 911 if need be. ![]() Tried calling the front desk but received no answer. Had adjoining room and someone in that room about 1 in the morning was trying to enter my room. Floor was damp like it had been recently cleaned but there were still stains on the floor. Hot water at sink was not usable due to needing to be a plumber to turn it in as it was to tight. The hotel staff at check-in is where the pleasantry ended. So much for the Hilton Brand promise of “If you're not satisfied with our accommodations or service, please let the front desk know without delay so we can make it right.” Needless to say, I had a very uncomfortable, sleepless night. I called the front desk again and they said somebody was coming to install the drape right away (they were looking for hooks). By now, it was about 1 am and I was still waiting for the issue to be resolved. He said he was going to look for help but never came back or called me back with an update. However, the gentleman at the front desk brought a drape but was unable to install it. I went to the front desk and asked them to switch me to another room but they said there was none available. So, it did not provide enough privacy and protection from outdoor light. When I arrived around 11:45 pm on Saturday 9/10/22, I noticed that the room lacked proper window covering.
